Content Spooling Network was mentioned in the New York Times today. It seems that a famous New York Times writer has ghostwritten some article titles for one of my members!

March 25th, 2007Cool “YouTube” for Documents
March 8th, 2007I just posted my first document on Scribd, a very useful community for publishing documents & ebooks.
I’ve also embedded the document with flash viewer on a page of this site:
http://www.contentspooling.net/secret.php
I uploaded the document in MS Word format, but as you’ll notice at the bottom of the viewer in the above page, there’s buttons to export as pdf, text, Word, even MP3!
I’ll keep an eye on my logs and see if this produces any additional traffic to CSN.

Content Spooling Network Affiliate Recruitment Contest?
March 1st, 2007We’re only 2 days into the official launch of the Content Spooling Network… and it is already growing steadily.
I’ve thought about conducting a contest to see which member can recruit the most active affiliates. Besides any prizes, you’ll also get a 5% recurring commission on sales any of your “sub affiliates” make (They will make 45% monthly of all direct sales, as will any affiliate).
A blog I frequent is giving away a free DVR / VCR. If I win this, I will offer it as a prize during an upcoming affiliate recruitment contest for the Content Spooling Network. If not, I’ll think of other prizes.
