Content Spooling Network Launch Update

February 18th, 2007

I brought on a bunch of JV partners for the launch, but I did so a bit late in the game. To allow more time to schedule their promotions, I agreed to delay the official launch for 1 week.

But I am in a quandry… I promised you the launch would be this Tuesday, the 20th, not next Tuesday the 27th.

I decided to have a limited launch to my private list on Tuesday.

Content Spooling Network will be sold a monthly membership service with a low monthly charge. But during my short private launch Tuesday, I’ll be selling it as a one-time-fee service to the “founding members” who sign up early.

I’m traveling back from Orlando to North Carolina today and will be releasing a video overview of the Content Spooling Network tomorrow.

If you haven’t yet read the below post, be sure to read it to discover more details about the Network.

Benefits Over Submitting To Article Directories

February 15th, 2007

While it is a good idea to submit to article directories in addition to the Content Spooling Network (the more incoming links, the better!), the following are ways in which the Content Spooling Network beats out traditional article directories.

  • The websites hosting your articles are peer-related (fellow webmasters who are also working to build topically-related links). As such, your links will often carry much more relevancy weight than those in general article directories.
  • Links can be anywhere in the article… Article directories usually limit links to the “resource box.”
  • Articles may contain up to five links… Article directories almost always limit links to three.
  • When new sites are added to the network, a unique version of your article will automatically be added… When new article directories spring up, you need to find and submit to them yourself.
  • The Content Spooling Network includes simple functionality to create unique versions of your articles so that each one escapes the duplicate content filter… Submitting unique versions to each article directory yourself is incredibly time-consuming.
  • Once you add your article, the submission of unique articles happens automatically… Article directories have no way to automatically list your new articles.
  • You can schedule the release of articles to the network to set your article marketing on autopilot… Submission to article directories is only autopilot if you have a dedicated staff.
  • The Content Spooling Network offers an article writing service… Try asking an article directory to write articles for you!

Build Peer-Related Incoming Links… Automated!

February 13th, 2007

If you want more than one or two hits a day from the search engines, you know the value of relevant incoming links. Those links work to build the reputation of your site and beef up your site in the search engine rankings.

One of the most effective methods of building one-way incoming links continues to be article marketing.

There are 2 primary distribution outlets for those articles… article directories and peer-related websites. Peer-related sites are those sites in your topical area that aren’t just hosting articles… they have their own revenue model and are actively seeking to increase their traffic the same as you.

Given that peer-related sites are performing their own link-building campaigns and are focusing these efforts on a particular topical area, these incoming links almost always bring more value than those from article directories.

Yet only the top 2% of article marketers actively attempt to get their articles (and incoming links) from these peer-related sites.

Why?

It is a pain in the butt! Article directories make it easy to add your article. But getting your articles published on peer-related sites involves emailing the webmaster and hoping they will oblige.

I created the Content Spooling Network for the other 98% of article marketers who simply don’t have the time or motivation to contact hundreds of peer-related sites with the article publication request.

Starting Tuesday, February 20th, it will all be automated.
